They find theyre alone except for mass quantities of liquor and gourmet food. While partying into the wee hours, a Medicine Man visits them and brings with him his magic pipe. He spouts complex philosophical treatises with ease after each puff even though he admits he knows nothing about philosophy, commanding that the Team try this new knowledge enhancer. Hours later the party is rudely interrupted by an earthquake and the simultaneous and apparent end of the world. Mushroom clouds rise in the distance, showing that all bets are off and the Team might as well go on partying. Strong leader Raul, bookish Simon, surly Denise and promiscuous Tiff find that they arent all that alone after all. They encounter the Freezer People whove been hiding out from a Great Tornado that passed by a generation before. Then there are the Attic People, the descendants of hippies escaping a Great Flood during the late 60s, who have since learned to live in symbiotic harmony with the Yoda Berry Bats that share their attic space. Raul, Denise, Simon and Tiff have the time of their lives trashing the Lodge while partying like rockstars. Only something is wrong. Perhaps the world didnt end after all. Find out the fate of the Team, the Freezer People, the Attic People and whether the Bearded Outback Ostrich myth will be busted. When you shout Ugubugu! at a Bearded Outback Ostrich, legend has it that they repeat the odd word and charge at you. Its all quite a wild rush of fun aborigine names, lots of Glen Ben Bitty 1947 single malt scotch, Mojitos, 80s rock, one undisclosed rap song, annoying bats, freezer burnt tater tots, billiards and, yes, lots of philosophy.
